Here is a scan from a fashion magazine we found, which suggests that Aishwarya Rai may have posed top less during her initial modelling days. This cover was probably shot before Aishwarya Rai became famous in the Pepsi advertisement and then went on to win the Miss India and Miss World titles. Check out the image and judge for yourself. If the image is enlarged you will be able to see the names of all the models mentioned at the bottom of the image, which are Aishwarya Rai, Madhu Sapre, Milind Soman, Ruchi Malhotra, Anu Varma and Colleen Khan. Aishwarya Rai is to the extreme left (without shoes) with only her back seen in the image. The height, hair and body structure definitely seem to be that of Aishwarya Rai. The second model from the left is Madhu Sapre, whose face is the only one seen in the image.
