Raman Thediya Seethai is all about how a Ram like person finds his life partner (Seethai) through a journey of searches and rejections. Raman Thediya Seethai has Cheran playing the protagonist and Pasupathi as a Radio Jockey. The film also has Nithin Sathya playing a very important role of an auto driver, who changes the course of Cheran’s life, when he almost finds his bride.
The story revolves around a bright young man who, though successful in his life, is not able to get a bride. He goes through several rejections from girls whom he goes to meet for an arranged marriage.
The reason? The girls are not able to accept the truth in his past life, which he honestly confesses when he meets them. Like Raman (of Ramayan who was honest), who went in search of his Seethai, this Raman searches for his girl and finally finds the right one with the help of a Radio Jockey.
It is directed by K.P. Jagannath, who earlier directed Pudhiya Geethai starring Vijay and the critically acclaimed Kodambakkam.
